Creating/Editing Profiles
Anyone can create/edit profiles.
Claiming
You may claim one profile as your own. Claiming a profile:
- Makes it editable only by you
- Enables you to make endorsements
To claim a profile:
- Sign in with a confirmed account
- Navigate to the profile you wish to claim
- Click the "claim" link next to the name
Endorsing
To endorse another person or company:
- Claim a profile
- Navigate to the profile you wish to endorse
- Click the "endorse" link in "is endorsed by" section of the profile
Accounts
To create and confirm account:
- Complete the new account form
- Click the confirmation link included in the confirmation email.
FAQ
Q: How do I include an avatar in a profile?
A: We use Gravatar to supply avatars. Gravatar stores an avatar image that's tied
to your email address. When you claim a profile, your account's email is linked to its Gravatar and is shown in the profile.
Your email address is not show in the profile, so using a Gravatar won't get you spammed.
